They are Charles Keene, John Carr, Timothy Donovan, John Dowd, Thomas McMahon, Thomas Green, Michael Ward, George Gilbody, John Fitzgerald, Walter Freeley, Robert Gardiner Wilson Jr., Seth Arnold, Edward Englert, Walter Wragg, Herman Bush, Horace Guild, Henry Parkman Jr., Joseph McGrath, Frederick Dowling, William Lynch, Israel Ruby, and John Heffernan. Nineteen of the candidates are Democrats.
