(April) They are located on the 51st and 52nd floors of the new Prudential Center at 800 Boylston Street. The building had been planned to be 50 stories, but architect Charles Luckman convinced its owners to add those floors and features by offering to forego his commission in exchange for rights to operate them. The restaurant and observation deck close in 2020, are renovated, and reopened in 2023.*
