Tom McNeeley loses a fight for the heavyweight boxing championship in Canada.

An Arlington native, McNeeley is knocked out by champion Floyd Patterson in the fourth round of a fight in Toronto. McNeeley, who knocks Patterson down once in the fight, later loses another heavyweight championship fight with Mike Tyson that is stopped 89 after 89 seconds in the first round.
