Thursday Evening Club first meets.

A dining club founded by Dr. John Collins Warren, its members come from medical and scientific backgrounds and include Martin Brimmer, Dr. Charles Jackson, and Abbott Lawrence. The group continues to meet today at various Boston social clubs.
