Three young men are killed in Dorchester and Roxbury.

As of this date, 20 of the 23 homicides for the year in Boston have taken place in Dorchester, Roxbury, and Mattapan and shootings are up 30% over the previous year. Responding to the continued violence, Karisa Williams of Mission Hill says, “It’s been going on for so long we’re used to it. But that doesn’t mean we want it.”
