Three men are killed in a construction accident on 140 Boylston Street.

The three are killed when a three-ton construction scaffold falls from near the top of a 14-story Emerson College dormitory building on the Piano Row section of Boylston Street across from Boston Common. The victims include two construction workers who were on the scaffold and a doctor who was driving a car that crushed by the scaffold.
