They are (at large) Felix Arroyo, Michael Flaherty Jr., Maura Hennigan, Stephen Murphy; (district) Rob Consalvo, Maureen Feeney, James Kelly, Jerry McDermott, Michael Ross, Paul Scapicchio, John Tobin Jr., Chuck Turner, Charles Yancey. Felix Arroyo becomes the first Hispanic elected to the Boston City Council. Arroyo, who finished fifth in the at-large race in the 2001 election, had been serving on the Council since January 6, 2003, when Francis “Mickey” Roache gave up his seat to become Suffolk County Register of Deeds. Turnout is 24.6%.
