Owned and operated by The cars, the recording studio is located at 331 Newbury Street. According to Brett Milano, “producer Roy Thomas Baker temporarily installed his ‘magic’ 40-track tape machine that spawned a string of platinum records.” The Cars cease operation of the studio in 1983.
