Streetcars service is extended to Jamaica Plain.

Operated by the West Roxbury Railroad, the horse-drawn line runs from the Tremont House, along Tremont Street, Huntington Avenue, South Huntington Avenue, and Centre Street. Electric streetcars are introduced in 1891, and the line operates until January 5, 1895.
