State Street Financial Center is built.

Architect: Jung/Brannen Associates. And Tso Associates. Designed in the Postmodern style, it is located at 1 Lincoln Street. Developed by Longbay Management Company and 36 stories tall, it is the largest office building in the U.S. planned and developed by minority investors. The State Street Corp. sign on the building is dedicated on October 25, 2005.
