State Sen. Linda Dorcena-Forry hosts the annual St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast.

In hosting the event at the Boston Exhibition and Convent Center, Dorcena-Forry (D-Dorchester), a Haitian-American, becomes the first African-American, first woman, and first politician from outside South Boston in that role. She begins the event by saying, “For those of you watching at home, do not adjust your television set. That’s right everybody, I’m a woman!”
