Sports Museum of New England is dedicated.

Located in Christian Herter Park at 1175 Soldiers Field Road, the museum’s first exhibit is entitled “New England Champions, 1859-1987.” Richard Johnson is the curator. Rusty Sullivan is the current executive director. The museum moves to the CambridgeSide Galleria on April 23, 1992 and then to the TD Garden.
