Second Church in Boston (eighth) is dedicated.

Architect: Cram & Ferguson. Designed in the Georgian Revival style and originally the Second Church in Boston, it is located at 874 – 880 Beacon Street. The congregation of the Second Church merges with and moves to the First Church at 66 Marlborough Street on February 1, 1970. The building is then purchased and used by the Ruggles Street Baptist Church.
