Sears (Willard T.) House is built.

(ca.) [1870-MLS] Architect: Cummings & Sears. One of four contiguous houses, it is located at 15 Gloucester Street (322 Marlborough Street). Built for the architect and his wife, who live here until 1909, the building is converted to a lodging house in 1942 and condominiums in 1976.
