The daughter of Frederick and Eleonora Randolph Sears, Eleonora Sears grows up at 122 Beacon Street. Educated privately in Boston and Paris, she makes her society debut in 1898. Sears takes up golf, polo, tennis, squash, and long-distance walking and is described as the best all-around woman athlete in American society.” Sears dies on March 16, 1968 in Palm Beach, Florida.
