Schell Printing Company is established.

Founded by John Schell, it is located initially in Scollay Square. Subsequently operated by Schell’s sons Eddie and Al, it moves to Egleston Square due to urban renewal in the 1950s and to its current location at 3399 Washington Street in 1965.
