Roxbury Town Hall opens.

(Feb.) Architect: Asher Benjamin. Built on land donated by and located on the estate by Col. Joseph Dudley, it serves as Roxbury’s City Hall in 1846.* It is subsequently used as a school, then torn down to make way for construction of the Dudley School in 1874.*
