Reeb (James) is born in Wichita, Kansas.

James Reeb grows up in Wyoming [Colorado-MM], graduates from St. Olaf College and the Princeton Theological Seminary, is ordained a minister, and serves initially as a parish priest in Washington, D.C. He comes to Boston with his family in the summer of 1964 to run a housing program for the American Friends Service Committee and lives at 3 Half Moon Street (4). Reeb is killed in Selma, Alabama, on March 10, 1965.*
