Quartering Act is adopted in London.

Parliament approves a law that requires Colonists to provide temporary housing to British soldiers. It subsequently becomes one of the most bitterly resisted of the many laws passed by Parliament at this time since it so directly affects the daily life of residents of the Colonies.
