Pfaff (H & J) House is built.

Designed in the French Second Empire style and built for brothers Herman and Jacob Pfaff, who operate the nearby brewery, it is located at 743 Parker Street. The brothers live here until approximately 1920. It is subsequently the home of brothers from the Xaverian order who teach at Mission High School until the 1960s.
