Paul (Susan) is born in Boston.

The daughter of the Rev. Thomas Paul, Susan Paul becomes a teacher at the Abiel Smith School, a member of the bi-racial Boston Female Anti-Slavery Society and New England Anti-Slavery Society, and lives at 36 West Cedar Street. She subsequently writes a biography of one of her students, who died when he was only six years old. Paul herself dies at age 32 in 1841.
