Old Dutch Cottage Candy & Antiques store is built.

It is located at 518 Tremont Street. Extensively renovated, the building had earlier been the home of a First National Store, cafes, a White Castle Restaurant, the Gypsy Reading Room, the Old Dover Tavern, the All-American Tailoring Company, the G and N Restaurant, Paul’s Export Company and other uses. It is demolished to make way for a new residential building in 2013.
