Operated by Continental Cablevision and the Hearst Corporation, it broadcasts from a station in Newton. It is the first regional cable television station to offer around-the-clock news reporting in the U.S. R.D. Sahl serves as evening anchor from 1997 to 2010. The station moves to a new studio in Needham in 2020.
