(Aug.) Capt. Samuel Moseley and his troops bring in the 14 captives. Two who are found guilty and sentenced into slavery. Of the dozen found innocent, one is Wauowus, known as James Printer. A member of the Nipmuck tribe, he had helped set type for John Eliot’s Native American Bible that had been printed in Cambridge.
