Museum of Bad Art is established.

Founded by Jerry Reilly and curated by Scott Wilson, it is located initially in the basement of Reilly’s home at 10 Vogel Street. “Lucy in the Field With Flowers” is the first painting in the collection. The museum subsequently moves to the basements of the Dedham Community Theatre and the Somerville Theatre, closes in 2019, and reopens in the Dorchester Brewing Company in 2022.
