(March) Architect: Gridley Bryant (with Hammatt Billings and Nathaniel Bradlee). The headquarters of the Massachusetts Charitable Mechanic Association, it is located at 72 Bedford Street. The organization moves to a new building (second) on Huntington Avenue in 1882.*
