Massachusetts Institute of Technology student is arrested at Logan Airport for wearing wearing a suspicious sweatshirt.

Star Simpson, an MIT sophomore, is arrested for wearing a sweatshirt decorated to look like an explosive device, featuring a circuit board connected to a 9-volt battery. She is also carrying a 5 to 6 ounce glob of Play-Doh, presumably meant to look like plastic explosives. . After being surrounded by police with drawn guns, Simpson is arrested and charged with possession of a hoax device, a felony with a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
