Massachusetts General Hospital Russell (Paul S.) Museum of Medical History and Innovation opens.

Architect: Leers Weinzapfel Associates. Named for the former chief of surgery at MGH, it is located at 2 North Grove Street. It is the first hospital museum focusing on the history of medicine and surgery in the U.S.
