Marty Walsh is reelected mayor of Boston.

Walsh (D), with 70,125 [70,197-BGL] (65.8%), defeats Boston City Councilor Tito Jackson (D), with 36,433 (34.2%). Voter turnout is 108,909 or 27.7% 927.8%-BHL]. Turnout for the preliminary election was some 56,400 or 14%. Jackson is the first African-American mayoral candidate to run in the general election since Mel King in 1983.
