Madonna Queen of the Universe is installed.

Artist: Arrigo Minerbi. The shrine is located at 150 Orient Avenue, across the street from the elderly housing development operated by the Don Orione order of priests. The 35-foot tall, 4-ton, bronze and copper statue is a replica of one in Rome created by a Jewish Holocaust survivor who had been sheltered by the order of priests in Italy. The park in which the statue stands is dedicated on September 17, 1978.
