Lawrence (William A.) is born in Boston

The son of Amos and Sarah (Appleton) Lawrence, William Lawrence graduates from Harvard College, and is ordained a minister in 1876.. After teaching at the Episcopal Theological School in Cambridge, Lawrence is named Episcopal Bishop of Massachusetts in 1893. He dies in Milton on November 6, 1941.
