L Street Brownies hold their first annual winter swim.

[1901-BGL] Officially organized in 1902, the group hold its first recorded New Year’s Day Swim at the l Street Bath House. Organized in 1902, the group derives its name from the deep tan its members maintain from year-round swimming in Boston Harbor all year round. The January 1st event, in which all are welcome to participate, continues today.
