Incumbent Collins, with 59,989 votes, and City Councilor Piemonte, with 27,492, finish ahead of Patrick McDonough, 26,576, Julius Ansel, 11,729, and William Foley, 1,137. Turnout is 123,780 of the city’s 300,600 registered voters or 41%, approximately the same as four years earlier.
