Jerry McDermott becomes a Boston City Councilor.

McDermott becomes the district councilor from Brighton-Allston upon the death of Brian Honan. When McDermott attempts to enter Honan’s former office, however, he finds the lock glued shut – the same prank that McDermott had been accused of playing on Honan at the latter’s campaign headquarters when the two ran against each other in 1995.
