James Michael Curley is elected to represent the Eleventh Congressional District.

Curley (D) defeats incumbent Thomas Eliot to again win election to Congress. He represents a district that includes Cambridge, East Boston and Charlestown. He is reelected in 1944. Others elected from districts that include Boston are Christian Herter (R) (10th), John McCormack (12th), and Richard Wigglesworth (R) (13th).
