Housing Choices bill becomes law.

Passed by the Massachusetts legislature and signed by Gov. Charlie Baker, the new law promotes higher density, affordable housing construction by requiring “as of right” multifamily zoning in MBTA communities and allowing all municipalities to approve land use changes by a simple majority vote of their town meeting or town council.
