House of Odd Windows is built.

Architect: William Ralph Emerson. Built as stable for Jonathan Mason’s houses on Mount Vernon Street, it is located at 24 Pinckney Street. The building is remodeled by Emerson in 1884 so that each window is different from every other one. Subsequent occupants include Thomas Bailey Aldrich.
