Home for Destitute Jewish Children (second) is dedicated.

Architect: Hasty, John A. Designed in the Classical Revival style, it is located at 150 – 160 American Legion Highway. It houses 200 children. The building becomes the home of the Hecht House in 1936 and houses the Brooke Charter School.
