Home for Aged Men is built.

Architect: Gridley Bryant. Originally the Soldiers Home, it is located at 70 Worcester Street. The institution subsequently becomes Rogerson House and moves to Jamaica Plain. The building is torn down to make way for the Hurley School in 1957.
