Hoffman Building is built.

Architect: Codman & Despradelle. (?) Originally the W.F. Schrafft & Sons Factory, it is located on Lovejoy Wharf at today’s 160 North Washington Street. Construction began in 1907. The building subsequently becomes the home of the Quincy Cold Storage Warehouse and the Registry of Motor Vehicles. It is expanded and converted to a mixed-use development in 2015.*
