Grand Bostonians (second) are announced.

The second group of notables honored by Mayor Kevin White, they include civil rights activists Melnea Cass and Florence Luscomb, former U.S. Senator and Ambassador Henry Cabot Lodge Jr., theater critic Elliot Norton, businessman and philanthropist Sidney Rabb, former governor and U.S. Senator Leverett Saltonstall, and historian Walter Muir Whitehill.
