Those testifying include Wanda Zachewicz, described in the media as the last resident of the West End. In her testimony, Zachewicz declares, “Urban renewal is a bitter disappointment to people like myself in Boston. My family lost land in Poland under Hitler, but I never expected it to happen in America We little people are tired of being pushed around.”
