First Church in Brighton Parsonage is built.

(ca.) Designed in the Georgian-Federal style, it is located at 4 – 10 Academy Hill Road. The house soon becomes the home of Rev. John Foster, and his wife, the author Hannah Webster Foster. The building undergoes substantial renovations in the 19th and 20th century and part of it is converted to commercial use.
