Federal Reserve Bank Building (second) is built.

1922

Architect: R. Clipston Sturgis. Designed in the Renaissance Revival style, it is located on the site of the former Boston Elevated Railway headquarters at 250 Franklin Street. The lobby of the building contains murals by N.C. Wyeth. An addition is built in 1953.* The bank moves to a new building (third) in 1977,* and the building is converted to a hotel in 1981.*
