Egyptian Theatre is built.

Architect: Eisenberg & Feer. Designed in the Art Deco style, it is located at 326 Washington Street in Brighton Center. The theater seats 1,700. It closes in the late 1950s and is torn down in 1959. The site is now occupied by the Brighton Elks, Lodge 2199.
