Edward “Wimpy” Bennett, 47, disappears in Dorchester.

(Jan.) The brother of the reputed loan shark, Walter Bennett, 55, then disappears on April 3, 1967. Stephen Flemmi and Frank Salemme later admit to killing the brothers and burying their bodies at a Hopkinton gun club. A third brother, William “Billy” Bennett, is shot to death and his body thrown from a car on Harvard Street in front of the Audubon School in Dorchester on December 23, 1967.
