(OS-9/4) He arrives on board the Griffin and dies in 1637 (1654-MHS). His only son, Edmund 2nd, marries Joanna Hoar. His son, Judge Edmund Quincy, marries Dorothy Flynt. Their son, the first in a long line of Josiah Quincys, owns a ship that captured a Spanish ship loaded with 161 chests of silver and two chests of gold in 1748.
