East Boston is granted to the Council of Plymouth.

King James I grants Noddles Island, Hog/Breeds Island, Governors Island, Apple Island, and Bird Island to the Plymouth Council, which grants them to Capt. Robert Gorges in 1622. They are subsequently inherited by his brother, John Gorges, who grants Noddles Island and Hog/Breeds Island to Sir William Brereton in 1629.
