Demonstration is held against recent police shootings of African-American men.

January 15, 2015

Two small groups of demonstrators block morning rush-hour traffic north and south of Boston on Route I-93 in Medford and Milton. Calling themselves a diverse group of “non-black people” who support the group Black Lives Matter, they chain themselves together and to concrete-filled barrels, forcing the police to take quite some time before they can clear them from the roadway. Twenty-nine of the demonstrators are arrested.
