Delegation from the Massachusetts Bay Colony sails for England.

August 31, 1641

William Hibbins of Boston, Hugh Peter of Salem, and Thomas Weld of Roxbury are sent back to England to address concerns by investors in the Massachusetts Bay Colony. They arrive to find that restraints on the colony’s patent had been removed by the Privy Council on March 31, 1641.
